2023年5月22日，是一個非常值得回味的日子。 

當天我們舉辦了一個超過二百人參與的學習活動——「傑出學生表揚茶聚2023」。疫情過後，校園回復往昔的熱鬧，同學在學習之外，亦積極投入不同的活動，且屢獲佳績，是次活動就是希望能在一眾嘉賓、家長及老師們的見證下，表揚這些在學業、品行及課外活動方面表現優秀的學生。

我相信對同學來說，參與每一個活動的同時也是一次學習的機會，除了有傑出表現的學生得到表揚之外，其他同學倘若能通過擔任不同的服務崗位，獲得其他學習經歷的體驗，豈不一舉兩得? 就是這個想法促成了「傑出學生表揚茶聚2023」這個活動。

最初，我覺得這是一個不可能的任務，因為活動籌備工作牽涉不同學習領域，包括：旅遊與款待科、家政科、輔導組火柴人計劃、拍攝隊、舞蹈組、歌唱組及親善大使等等，涉及超過二百名學生。表揚茶聚活動最後得以順利舉行，實有賴這些「幕後功臣」所付出的努力。

同學們在老師的指導下認真學習，細心準備每一個細節，如茶點及餐飲的製作、款待嘉賓的禮儀、場地佈置、歌唱及舞蹈的表演、拍攝、司儀及其他大會的事務等。同學們在活動中展現了他們的組織能力和團隊合作精神，他們換上整齊的制服，謹守崗位，態度懇切有禮，這些表現都很值得我們欣賞和讚許。另外，一羣家長義工在炎熱的星期日，犧牲休息時間回校幫忙準備食材、佈置場地，以至細心地燙好每一套款待制服，我向他們對學校的關愛和支持致以由衷的感謝。

感謝盧婉婷主席MH當天擔任主禮嘉賓，盧議員於表揚茶聚上與同學分享她在求學及工作時期的生活，如何應對重重的挑戰而向目標前進，鼓勵同學們即使遇到困難，也要全力以赴，迎難而上，直到目標實現。主禮嘉賓演講後有本校舞蹈組及學生歌唱的表演環節，嘉賓們及受邀出席的家長、學生們能一邊品嚐由學生親自烹調的餐飲美食，一邊欣賞精彩的表演。

我特別要感謝活動的負責老師，因為有他們的堅持，為工作不辭勞苦，才能完成這個不可能的任務。最後，祝願獲表揚的同學們能繼續保持優秀的表現，為自己的未來打下堅實的基礎；同時，也希望其他同學能夠受到他們的啟發，勇於追求自己的夢想，不斷進步和成長。

Mission Impossible

22 May 2023 is indeed a very memorable day.

On that day, we held a learning activity with more than 200 participants －"2023 Outstanding Students Recognition Tea Gathering". After the epidemic, the campus has returned to the bustle of the past. In addition to studying, students have also actively participated in different activities and achieved good results. This activity hopes to praise these students in their studies under the witness of all guests, parents and teachers. Students with outstanding performances in terms of conduct, conduct and extra-curricular activities.

I believe that for the students, participating in every activity is also a learning opportunity. Apart from the outstanding performances of the students, if other students can gain other learning experiences through serving in different service positions, would not it be great to kill two birds with one stone? It was this idea leading to the activity of "2023 Outstanding Students Recognition Tea Gathering".

Initially, I thought it was an impossible task because the preparation of the event involved different learning areas, including: Tourism and Hospitality Studies, Home Economics, Counselling Team Stickman Project, Filming Team, Dance Team, Singing Team, Goodwill Ambassadors, etc., involving more than two hundred students. The success of the commendation tea gathering was due to the hard work of these "heroes behind the scenes".

Under the guidance of the teacher, the students studied and prepared every detail carefully, such as the production of tea and catering, etiquette for entertaining guests, venue layout, singing and dancing performances, filming, master of ceremonies and other affairs of the conference. The students showed their organizational skills and teamwork spirit during the event. They put on neat uniforms, kept their posts, and behaved sincerely and politely. These performances are worthy of our appreciation and praise. What is more, a group of parent volunteers sacrificed their rest time to return to school on a hot Sunday to help prepare food, arrange the venue, and even carefully iron each set of hospitality uniforms. I would like to express my sincere thanks to them for their love and support to the school.

Thanks to Chairperson Lo Yuen Ting, MH for being the officiant guest on that day. At the commendation tea gathering, Ms. Lo shared with her classmates her life during her studies and work, how she faced numerous challenges and moved towards her goal, and encouraged the students to go all out even if they encounter difficulties, and to overcome difficulties until they accomplish their goals. After the guest of honor's speech, there was a performance session of the school's dance team and students singing. The guests, parents and students invited to attend enjoyed the wonderful performances while tasting the catering and food cooked by the students themselves.

I especially want to thank the teachers in charge of the event, because of their persistence and hard work, they can complete this impossible mission. Finally, I wish the commended students can continue to maintain their excellent performances and lay a solid foundation for their future; at the same time, I also hope that other students can be inspired by them to pursue their dreams bravely and make continuous progress and growth.
