YKN's English Week: A multi-facet English-learning environment 

To offer multi-disciplinary English language exposure and application for our students, numerous activities have been planned around the theme of "Learning about our Chinese Culture in English". Through participating in the dynamic activities, students were given opportunities to nurture their appreciation for the many positive values that different Chinese cultural and heritage items and legendary figures symbolise.

The Week has also been a “First of Many” for us:

- staging an English drama performance (Mulan)

- maximising English-learning inside and outside the English classroom

- AI-coding English vocabulary learning games for our students 

- organising kinesthetic English-learning games for our students

- infusing Values Education, National Security Education elements, and cross-discipline learning (Home Economics and Chinese History) in our English activities

May our school and our students continue to strive under these new English-learning measures!

 

YKN 英語週：多元英語學習語境

為了豐富學生接觸及應用跨學科英語機會，我們以「以英語學習中華文化」主題策劃了一系列精彩的英語週活動。透過參與這些充滿活力的英語活動，學生也能領悟不同中華文化遺產及傳奇人物所象徵的正面價值觀。

是次英語週亦為本校創下了多個「第一次」：

● 鑑賞英語話劇表演（花木蘭）；

● 擴展及融合英語課堂內外的英語學習語境；

● 利用 AI 編程為學生設計英語詞彙學習遊戲；

● 為學生舉辦動感式英語學習遊戲；

● 將價值觀教育、國家安全教育元素及跨學科學習（家政科及中國歷史科）融入英語活動之中。
